Center of Documentation and Women’s Library

As part of the Communication and Gender Area, Mujeres al Oeste has created a Center of Documentation and Women’s Library directed to students, educators, professionals and the community.

The Center of Documentation and Women’s Library functions in our headquarters at 25 de Mayo Street in Morón. The Center comprises different publications on diverse themes related to the women: gender, health, education, sexual and reproduction rights, abortion, HIV/AIDS and/or family and institutional violence, rights of teenagers and young people, communication, feminisms, political, lesbianism, arts, work, religion, legislation, ecology, social movements, history of women, among other relevant issues.

Aiming to diversify resources, we are organizing a Women’s video library. The video library aims to expand the already existing bibliographical material in the Center of Documentation with accessible audiovisual materials for the community to research, deliver trainings and study. Till our initiative, there was not any video library in the region with this focus.

If you are interested in visiting the Centre, do not hesitate to write to us at mao.aloeste@gmail.com or visit our headquarters on Wednesdays and Fridays.
